DESIGN BUILD IS

Design-build programs focus on capturing the time lost during the traditional Design through completion, Bid project to market, and Project construction completion environment. By encapsulating the design, permit, and construction schedules the Design-Build process allows customers to shorten the overall project time line and the ultimate completion of the project. This does not shorten the time it takes to complete the individual tasks of creating drawings, acquiring building permits, or actually constructing the building. Instead, a quality design-build firm will bring together design and construction professionals in a collaborative environment to complete these tasks during an overlapping process, essentially at the same time.
