DATA VOICE AND VIDEO DESIGN

Enterprise Electrical Services' design team is made up of leaders in our industry that have in depth knowledge of not only the structured cabling, Campus distribution, Optical distribution, and traditional physical layer systems. Our designers also must have strong Networking, Electrical, General construction, and Specialty systems back grounds, this additional experience allows our team to be not only tuned into your physical layer and standards based distribution needs but how they impact the overall project. This type of design approach has become considerably more important with the converged and collapsed environment in which our business's all work. With the common use of IP based systems growing well beyond our data networks into all systems within our buildings we have been able to design in the proper elements to save our customers the cost and headache of how these systems interconnect and potentially conflict. Below we have provided our step by step approach for the Design of Structured Cabling Systems and IT/IP Network Infrastructures for our customers.
Step 1: Standards: Which group of standards will you conform to and the broad base of complementary standards which envelope the systems that will interconnect. Additionally we must address in the beginning the specific systems which will traverse this network or the complement of systems our customers would like the option of traversing.
Step 2: Horizontal distribution of systems within the building structure and what systems they will support.
Step 3: Backbone cabling between floors and IDF's or just distribution between primary, secondary, and or tertiary systems.
Step 4: Campus Cabling; the path to which all individual structures will interconnect forming the overlay of a single or mesh system of communication.
Step 5: Positioning and design of Telecommunications Closets to link horizontal and backbone cabling.
Step 6: Cable containment systems and how all physical layer media will be supported.
Step 7: Cable Administration systems which outline how all systems will be organized labeled and maintained.
Step 8: Earthing Scheme to ensure correct distribution and interconnection of grounded paths within the entire physical layer design.
Step 9: Testing regime including overall performance, identification, and warranty parameters based on the customers needs
Step 10: Final review with Design team and customer input to ensure overall system will meet the correct ideals and objectives.
